Update from New West Neighbourhood House they are looking for Volunteers to help out!

There is a petition going around to have a system similar to Amber alert but for those who don't meet criteria. Those that this is trying to help are missing because they are prone to wandering off usually due to developmental disabilities.

Congratulations again to our wonderful librarian Elaine Su on her book launch. The kids enjoyed a beautiful story telling, learned new words and even how to draw the Panda! Tonight will be filled with many families reading their new epistolary style book for bedtime with a stuffie or two.

It's been a week since the fire but support for those affected is still in need. Many are looking for long term or temporary housing. Many loved pets are still missing who fled from the fire. This is one way our PAC has reached out to help.

Looking to still help those affected by the Pinecrest fire?

Neighborhood House Is looking for boxes and luggage to help with their clothing drive that brought an overwhelming amount of clothing.

Another way is cash donations. Our PAC as well as some others in the community have all donated to help as well. You can do any number of donations e-transfers to [email protected]
