The purpose of this page is specifically to provide my students' families with the opportunity to observe some of what we are learning/doing/thinking about here in Division 3.

Please check your child's backpack for their purple folder. There is a LOT of great stuff in there for your child to share with you. They will enjoy telling you about our all the work they are brining home. We have done some fun Pi Day activities this last week - getting ready for our new Math unit in April: Geometry.

Division 3 had a big day of learning today, including Roman Numerals, Decimals and local Indigenous connections to the lunar calendar. The beautiful full moon from a few days ago is called the Blossoming Moon in the Coast Salish calendar.you might want to ask your child about the connection between Roman numerals and the rather elderly EA who joined us today.

There’s a whole lot of creativity happening here in Division 3. The children are using play dough to explore aspects of the Creative Thinking Core Competency.
