I’m excited to share the SMH Comedy Society’s 2024 Summer Class Grad show happening on Monday, December 9th at Hastings Racecourse Casino! 🎤
I won't be there on stage this year, but I did David's Stand Up Comedy Clinic Course at Langara last Fall. For my graduation, I remember feeling so supported and appreciated by the enthusiasm and encouragement of a wonderful audience that included a number of great friends. I hope that you will put this wonderful event on your calendar too.
Why is this important?
Because mental health affects so many of us, and humour is a powerful way to bring people together, lift spirits, and spark important conversations. The comedians at this event are not only hilarious but also courageous individuals who are sharing their journeys through laughter.
Founded by David Granirer, Stand Up For Mental Health empowers people with mental health challenges to find their voice on stage, showing us how humour can be a bridge to healing.
