This week, JISU Directors-at-Large Michelle Reyes () and Rashi Sharma (), alongside student leaders from SFU and UBCO, advocated for student concerns before the federal government. JISU had the opportunity to engage with various Members of Parliament to raise issues such as affordability, post-secondary education funding, international student programs, and transportation, thereby initiating significant discussions. JISU remains dedicated to advocating for increased investment in students, recognizing that such investments contribute to a stronger, more equitable future for all.
