New Sarepta Community High School New Sarepta Community High School is a grade 7-12 school, situated approximately 15 minutes east of Leduc and Beaumont, and 20 minutes south of Sherwood Park.

New Sarepta Community High School is a grade 7-12 school in Black Gold School Division on the east end of Leduc County, situated 20 min east of Leduc and Beaumont. The school presently has a population of 156 students; 79 in junior high, and 77 in senior high. New Sarepta Community High School has a strong tradition of academic success, outstanding Fine Arts programs, diverse and successful CTS pr

ogram, and very competitive extra-curricular teams and clubs. The school offers a Professional Learning Community that fosters a positive relationship between students, staff and parents, in order to achieve a positive learning environment for every student. We strive to provide a dynamic, well rounded program of learning opportunities that allows each individual student the ability learn, succeed, and develop the skills and abilities necessary to be responsible, respectful contributing citizens in our society.

That’s a wrap for Senior Drama!

Yesterday marked the final regular class for our Senior Drama students, and what a year it has been. From rehearsals and performances to laughter, creativity, problem-solving, and a few unforgettable moments along the way, this group has brought energy and personality to every production.

Drama is about much more than being on stage. It is about taking risks, working as a team, building confidence, constructive criticism and learning to tell stories that connect with others. This class embraced all of those challenges and created memories that will last long after the final curtain call.

Thank you to our Senior Drama students for sharing your talents, supporting one another, and helping make this year such a success. We wish our Gr. 12 graduates all the best as they take their next steps—and we hope the spotlight continues to find you wherever life takes you.

Community, Citizenship, and Kindness in Action! 🌟

Yesterday, we were treated to a wonderful surprise from our neighbours at New Sarepta Elementary School! As part of a Social Studies project focused on citizenship and volunteerism, the Grade 3 students, along with their teachers Mrs. Quach and Mrs. Plylpiuk, walked over to NSCHS to deliver handmade encouragement posters for each of our Grade 7–12 classes.

The students spent time creating thoughtful messages, colourful artwork, and words of encouragement to help our students as they prepare for their upcoming exams. To make the visit even sweeter, they also brought enough Jolly Ranchers for every student in the school!

Thank you to the Grade 3 students for your kindness, creativity, and generosity. Your thoughtful gesture will bring a lot of smiles to our hallways and remind us all of the positive impact even small acts of kindness can have on others. We are grateful for the strong connection between our two schools.

Today, some of our Grade 7 students helped Mrs. Hinkle take down our indoor garden system for the summer. Over the course of the year, this garden provided hands-on learning opportunities while teaching students about responsibility, patience, and the science of growing food.

A big thank you to the students who rolled up their sleeves and helped with the year-end cleanup.
