This Thursday we will observe the first annual Truth & Reconciliation Day and will honour those who attended Residential Schools in Canada and the legacy of trauma that has and continues to impact Mi'Kmaw and Indigenous peoples. We've picked up some new resources to read this week with the children and as we are closed Sept.30th, will honour Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday, Sept.29th by asking all staff and children to wear orange shirts.

Public schools and regulated child care centres will be closed September 30th to commemorate the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
