Filipino Heritage Month is celebrated annually across Canada throughout the month of June. This Saturday’s menu pays homage to my Filipino heritage.

Double Baked Coconut Ube Croissants: butter croissants filled with coconut frangipane and housemade Ube jam
Peach Mango Danish: my take on Jollibee’s, the Philippines #1 fast food chain, peach mango pie
Lengua de gato: crisp and delicate Filipino butter cookies
Ube Macapuno Cake Slice: Ube chiffon cake with Ube buttercream and topped with Macapuno strings. Reminds me of my childhood birthday cakes
