Business Services at Eastern Shores School Board is gearing up for another busy year of helping businesses, organizations and communities develop the skills they need.

From customized workplace training to opportunities in AI, essential skills, mobile welding training and more, there is a lot happening in 2026-2027!

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing training opportunities, new services, success stories and some exciting developments we’ve been working on.

Inspired by the many thoughtful and creative submissions from our community, our new logo captures the values at the heart of BCRS: our connection to nature, our commitment to growth, and our passion for lifelong learning. 🌿📚

More than just a new look, this logo represents a new chapter — one built on our shared vision, our collective strength, and the belief that together, we can create a bright future for our students. 💙

We’re excited for all that lies ahead and look forward to continuing this journey together as a vibrant, welcoming learning community where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Evergreen may be one of our smaller schools, but there’s nothing small about the energy, creativity and sense of community found within its walls.

🚧 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🚧

Our Construction Equipment Operator students are getting valuable, hands-on experience while working on a public road project through a partnership between Eastern Shores School Board and the Municipalité Saint-Elzéar de Bonaventure.

This is what hands-on learning looks like! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Our students are putting their training into practice, developing confidence and precision while operating heavy equipment in a real-world work environment. They’re learning how to work safely, communicate as a team, adapt to the demands of a job site, and build the skills they’ll need for a career in the construction industry.

Projects like this give our students more than classroom knowledge — they give them experience, responsibility, and an opportunity to see what they are capable of.

We’re proud to watch our students grow their skills, take on new challenges, and prepare for the many opportunities that await them in the skilled trades. 💪🚜

A big thank you to the Municipality of St-Elzéar for partnering with us and helping create meaningful learning opportunities for our students!
