We saw that Kelli at True Bias just released a beautiful shirt pattern called the Merrit shirt and dress pattern. Starting the third week of September registration is now open. Head to our website for all the details link in bio. In our after-school sewing classes, we emphasize personal creativity and design while teaching the basic techniques of sewing and construction. We offer project-based classes covering design, pattern making, and eventually how to use commercial patterns. The kids will become familiar with using a sewing machine, hand sewing and cutting out fabric from simple patterns. Everything is included, as we have lots of material and notions that our generous local sewing community has donated to choose from, but of course you can bring something special too. Kids love making stuff! Ages 6 (If you feel your child is ready) and UP.

We are so in love with these soft cottons! They have a beautiful crinkle texture to the weave and we've got them in a variety of prints and colours so you can mix and match them. These are the new colours and prints that came in, but we have even more in the shop!
