Tiny homes, big reasons to be thankful! 💛

This Thanksgiving, we’re feeling pretty lucky to build homes for such wonderful people. Seeing how they’ve made each space their own is one of our favourite parts.

We’ve brought four of their stories together in a YouTube video. Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUQpJzp0riw

We recently stopped by to visit a lovely client whose tiny house we built in 2021.

Every tiny house is personal, so a good working relationship matters just as much as the finished build.

We’re grateful to hear that she felt supported throughout the process and continues to be so happy with her tiny house.

We’re so excited to see Kelci’s home featured on Living Big In A Tiny House!

Every home we build is shaped by the person who will live in it and Kelci’s is such a beautiful example. It’s full of meaningful treasures, creative details and so much personality in every corner.

The Living Big In A Tiny House team captured the home, and Kelci, so beautifully.

We’re incredibly proud to have helped bring her vision to life.

Check out the full tour below!

Every now and then we step inside a tiny house that completely stop...

All our tiny houses come with a “spice rack on steroids” 😉

This pull out pantry also doubles as a door, giving you additional food storage without sacrificing extra space.

When you’re designing tiny, every square inch counts. So why make something do one job when it can do two?

Smart storage, hidden doors and making the most of every little nook. Just a few of the perks of going tiny.

Watch this hand-cut pergola take shape as we attach the rafters. We’re getting close to the finish line on this one!

Tiny houses might be our specialty, but our craftsmanship doesn’t stop there. We take on all kinds of custom projects, big and small. If you have something in mind, get in touch and let’s chat about how we can bring it to life.

One moment, our lovely client was sharing why she recommends Nelson Tiny Houses. The next, a robin had completely stolen the show. It was a sweet little remind that living in a tiny house can bring nature right to your doorstep, along with plenty of moments worth pausing for.

What could tiny living look like for you? 🌲

For many of our clients, it means creating a home that feels more connected to the place they’ve chosen to live, with a smaller footprint, thoughtful use of space and everything they need to feel at home.

There’s something pretty special about seeing our tiny houses a year (or five!) down the road and hearing how much their owners still love living in them.

If you’ve been thinking about making the move to a tiny home, we’d love to chat. Reach out to learn more about our models, the building process and what might work for you.

A lot can change in five years, but one thing hasn’t: people are still surprised by how spacious this tiny house feels once they step inside.

It’s a reaction our wonderful client says they hear all the time, from friends stopping by to people working nearby who are curious to take a look. Tiny homes have a way of changing people’s expectations once they’re inside.

There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a home we built continue to bring joy five years later.

We recently visited one of our wonderful clients, whose home we built five years ago.

Getting to reconnect with past clients is one of our favourite parts of the job. There’s something really special about seeing how they’ve made the space their own and hearing how their tiny home has supported them over the years.

If a custom tiny home has been on your mind, we’d love to help you explore the possibilities. Get in touch to learn more about building with Nelson Tiny Houses.

"My family likes to brag about their grandma who lives in a tiny house."

We recently caught up with one of our clients to hear about her experience living in the tiny house we built for her and how she's made the space her own over the past year.

There's nothing more rewarding than seeing our clients settle into a home that's designed around their lifestyle and needs.

Stay tuned for a look inside and hear firsthand what life in a Nelson Tiny House is really like.

If you've been considering a tiny house, garden cabin or secondary dwelling on your property, give us a call or shoot us an email. We'd be happy to chat about your project.
