Interested in obtaining your Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) for non-restricted fi****ms?

The Canadian Non-Restricted Fi****ms Safety Course (CFSC) is required to apply for a PAL.

โš ๏ธ Please note: Manuals must be purchased and picked up in advance so students can pre-read the material before the course.

๐Ÿ‘ฆ YOUTH STUDENTS

The RCMP allows children as young as 12 years old to take the course.

Students ages 12โ€“18 may receive a Possession Only Minor's Licence, which can be renewed as a PAL at age 18.

Parents of students aged 12โ€“14 are encouraged to attend with their child, as the course days are long and students may need assistance with reading and comprehension.

All students complete the same examination, regardless of age. Parents cannot assist students during the examination.

โ€ข Minimum Grade 8 English reading and comprehension level
โ€ข Photo ID required at the start of the course
โ€ข Pick up and pre-read the course manual before attending
