The BCScTA is pleased to offer the Roots Grant to help you get an answer for your question. Do you need time to collaborate with others, or attend a conference, or bring in a specialist to do some training? Are you looking for resources or expertise in an area of science teaching? With funding up to $2500 the Roots Grant can provide financial assistance in your quest to become a better teacher. The only requirement is that you agree to share the results of your project or quest with others at a future Catalyst conference.

🌱 Our Resource Conservation Program is launching in two weeks and we couldn't be more excited! We visited the Osoyoos Indian Band to learn how their Traditional Knowledge can teach us about sustainable living and why it's important to make some changes to our lifestyles. We also explored how conserving resources is an important aspect of addressing climate change!
