Wild Sisters' Overnight Camp magically carved out a few days with not too much smoke but lots of laughter, connection and meaning.
Ten girls age 10-12. Two amazing supportive adults Valerie May Evans and Mareike Wasilenko. Beautiful land and lake at the Pend d'Oreille River Range and Farm, hosted by Adam and Shauntelle Harding with their passion for animals and restoring ecosystems.
Thank you.
Maybe it was being off grid and off cell service and wifi.
Maybe the deep nature connection mentoring culture.
Maybe the constellation of humans, where many of the girls had been in my forest preschool.
Maybe the songs and sharing of gratitude and kindness.
Maybe the blessings of our ancestral Grandmothers?
The food was yummy.
Swimming was fun and refreshing in the heat.
Meeting the farm animals was inspiring.
Sharing circles and cheering on each other felt good.
The games were a blast.
The courage of the girls to try new things was a joy to witness.
Come join us next year!

We have two spots available in the Wild Sisters' Overnight Camp Aug 17-20!
07/25/2026
Thank you summer, for sun, rain and mostly clear sky. I am soaking it up as a sponge. The Forest Path has offered Grizzly Camp and Coyote Camp and I went one week to Twin Eagles Wilderness School and their scout camp. There are so many highlights: swimming, fires from bow drills and flint and steel, the full body clay camouflage sneaking games, feasts and animal encounters. And the cultural elements of songs, rap with Jeff Holden, games with Valerie May Evans and Andrea Fox, storytelling and the expressions of kindness and gratitude.
Three more weeks of camps coming - we have a few spots in the Wild Sisters Girls Overnight Camp!
06/22/2026
Forest Path Summer Camps starts in 2 weeks - I am getting excited!
Only 3 spots opened up in Coyote Camp and
4 spots in Wild Sisters Overnight Camp.
Email [email protected] to register or be added to the waitlists.
We are going to play so many games and make cool crafts, sing, cook on the fire and much more. Creating memories carried in the bones, reprinting for what humans are designed for - nature connection and people connection.
