🌲🍃 Week 5: Forest Camp 🍃🌲
Step into the forest and discover a world full of wonder, creativity, and adventure!
Designed for children ages 8–12, Forest Camp invites young artists to explore the beauty and wisdom of the woods through art, play, and outdoor discovery. Inspired by towering trees, mossy trails, forest creatures, and the changing seasons, campers will create nature-based artwork using a variety of materials while building a deeper connection with the natural world.
Through painting, sculpture, printmaking, natural materials, storytelling, and hands-on creative activities, participants will slow down, observe closely, and let the forest spark their imagination. Daily outdoor explorations encourage curiosity, mindfulness, and appreciation for the ecosystems that surround us.
Guided by Kutenai Art Therapy Institute's art therapy-informed approach, campers will build confidence, creativity, and a sense of belonging in a supportive, small-group environment where every child is encouraged to explore, create, and connect. We still have two 50% subsidies available.
