We are active community members, professionals, and moms.

So this is what our meetings often look like, babies on the table being entertained while we pick siding colours or discuss the next fundraiser.

We feel the need of this daycare in our community, so we are doing everything we can to fill that need!

See you at Streetfest in Marsden on August 29th. We will be there to answer questions, plays some games, get your kids on a pre-registration list, and as always accept donations. 🎪🎈

Interested in Joining the NELCC Team?

As we prepare for the opening of the Neilburg Early Learning & Child Care Centre in 2027, we’re starting to connect with people who may be interested in joining our future team!

We are currently accepting applications of interest for:

• Early Childhood Educator (ECE) positions
• Director position

While our formal hiring process will not begin until approximately 3–4 months before opening, we want to start building our applicant pool now. This will allow us to connect with interested candidates, share updates as positions become available, and keep you informed as we get closer to opening.

If working with children, supporting families, and helping build the culture of a brand-new childcare centre sounds like something you’d love to be part of, we want to hear from you.

Interested in working at our centre when we open in Sept 2027? We’d love to have you! However there are some requirements you should be aware of:

All full time positions require at minimum Early Childhood Education level 1 - or proof you are working on your level 1.

The Director position requires Early Childhood Education level 3.

All positions require a criminal record check with vulnerable sector check.

The good news? If you don’t have your certification, you can get it through Lakeland (or elsewhere) in person or online!

Online Early Childhood Education certificate and diploma Lakeland College offers both an early childhood education certificate and diploma online.

Every week, our future Neilburg Early Learning & Child Care Centre looks a little more real. Walls are up, trusses are going on, and we’re getting to watch a space built for our community’s children take shape right before our eyes.

There’s still lots of work ahead, but this is such an exciting milestone.
