Cornerstone Christian Academy

Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean the work has stopped at school! We are thankful to our Cornerstone dads and granddads for restoring our storage shed. Mrs. Mutch has been hard at work ordering and organizing curriculum and supplies. This past week, a furnace unit was replaced on the roof. Thank you to Evangel for keeping us warm in the winter and cool in the spring. Our first day is quickly approaching! ✏️📕

Thank you to Napanee Golf and Country Club, hole sponsors, prize donors, and the 71 golfers who helped make our fundraising golf tournament a huge hit! We raised $6,000, making it our most successful golf tournament yet! See you on the greens again next year! ⛳️

What’s a more perfect way to end a great school year together than with a day at the beach?🏖️ We are thankful to God for His continued blessings over our school. We are praying everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing summer! ☀️

The Grade 3/4 class enjoyed their year end trip to The Aquatarium! They also made their way through Canada’s first and oldest railway tunnel! It was a fun-filled day of making memories, learning, and exploring!

You’re invited! 🎉 Join us this Thursday at 6:30 as we celebrate our students. Our readiness students and our grade eight students will both be graduating! Awards are given out to students in all grades. Everyone is invited to the gym after for refreshments provided by grade 7 families. Come celebrate with us!

Our grade 3/4 class enjoyed a “Pioneer Day” at school. They did their work on chalk slates, did artwork on birch bark, learned how to make food preserves, and had a woodworking class making homemade gum ball machines. Stepping back in time for the day was a great way to end their social studies unit.

Grade 7/8 students finished their unit of poetry by completing a poetry anthology on a theme of their choosing.

Our grade 5/6 class finished their flight science unit with a field trip to the National Air Force Museum of Canada today. It was a fun and educational way to end the unit! ✈️
