Goodbye is never easy,
when memories fill the days,
with little hands, big smiles,
and all the joyful ways.
From first steps through our doorway,
to growing brave and bright,
we’ll hold these precious moments
and wish you love and light.

Today we are saying a heartfelt goodbye to a very special family as they leave The Playground.
This family first came to our daycare in September 2022 when they enrolled their daughter, and their son joined us in 2024. Over the past four years, we have had the joy of watching their children grow, learn, play, and become part of our Playground family.
Their daughter has now graduated from The Playground after turning 6 years old, and their son is heading off to kindergarten. Both children no longer need early years care, and while we are so proud of them, we will miss seeing their smiles, hearing their stories, and sharing in their everyday adventures.
This family has been such a wonderful support to The Playground, and we are truly grateful for the trust, kindness, and encouragement they have shared with us over the years.
We are going to miss them very much, but we wish the whole family all the very best as they begin this exciting next chapter. Once part of The Playground family, always part of The Playground family. 💛

Today we said GOOD-BYE to two of our FRIENDS who are heading off to “Big Boy” school in September. We had a special going-away lunch for one of the boys, and the other boy brought in a delicious cake to share with all his friends at The Playground.
Thanks for a great day and another wonderful memory.

Friendship is a gentle light,
That makes our happy days shine bright.
It shares a laugh, it dries a tear,
And keeps sweet memories close and near.

Though friends may travel far away,
The love we share will always stay.

The Playground’s toddler spots are already filled for September. There are limited spaces for children who are 30 months to 3 1/2 years of age.

Today was one of those bittersweet days at The Playground, as we had to say goodbye to another very special friend. Dax first walked through our doors when he was only nineteen months old, and since then, we have had the incredible privilege of watching him grow, learn, laugh, and become such a treasured part of our school family. As he gets ready to begin kindergarten in September, our hearts are full—full of pride for the little boy he has become, full of gratitude for the time we have shared, and full of sadness as we prepare to let him go on to his next big adventure.

Dax has always had a special way about him. His friendly demeanor, gentle spirit, and quiet kindness naturally drew other children to him. He was truly a friend to all, treating everyone with love, patience, and respect. The calm and warmth he brought into our days will not be forgotten, and his absence will be deeply felt by all of us who were lucky enough to know and care for him.

Brittany and Josh, I cannot thank you enough for your continued support, trust, and kindness over the last three years. It has meant so much to have your family as part of The Playground. Your familiar faces, your encouragement, and the relationship we have shared will be dearly missed more than words can truly express.

We were also so fortunate to have Dax’s big sister, Easton, as part of The Playground family. Since Easton first joined us in October 2018, both families have held a very special place in our hearts. It has been a true privilege to be part of both Easton’s and Dax’s early years, and for more than seven years, your families have been woven into the very heart of our school community.

Saying goodbye is never easy—especially when families have been part of our lives for so many years. While it is hard to close this chapter, we know this is also a beautiful and exciting time as you close the door on your children’s early years and open a new one filled with growth, learning, friendships, and new adventures.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your ongoing support over the years. We cannot thank you enough for bringing both Easton and Dax into our lives and allowing us to be part of their story. They have left a lasting mark on The Playground.

It has been an honour to watch your children grow, and although your faces will be missed around The Playground, the memories, laughter, and love you have shared with us will stay here always. We wish your families nothing but happiness, success, and beautiful new memories to come.
