Paddle meet up Stocco Lake Sunday Oct 4, 3pm

Going to try paddling the west channel of the Moira River from Stocco Lake this Sunday October 4th, launching from Tweed boat launch at 3pm, returning by 5pm.

The west channel is (or was) blocked at Bethel Road, but that is quite a distance from the launch. If it is blocked closer to Stocco lake, we can check out the east channel!

Paddle meet up Centennial Park, Varty Lake, 3pm Sunday September 13th. Launch at 3pm! Lots of parking. Privvy on site. When you enter the park, head all the way to the left to the boat launch.

Paddle meet up, Curl Road boat launch near Yarker

**3pm Monday September 7th.**

This is about a 90 minute paddle. Drop your kayak off, then park by the side of the road, avoiding farm gates.

Evening paddle meet up Monday August 24th 6pm at Camden Lake
90 minute paddle.
Camden Lake Provincial Wildlife Area opens to hunting in September, so we had better pay our repeat visit now. There will be LOTS of loons and terns, plus a few swans. Bug spray recommended due to the time of day. There is a port-a-potty in Yarker Park which is on the way to Camden Lake. Facilities on site are primitive.
