Friends of JT Foster

Did you know that JT Foster has a number of scholarships and bursaries? A number of these awards have a volunteer component to them. Here is a great opportunity for JT Foster students to volunteer. The Nanton Children's Festival is looking for student volunteers for only 1 day! Here is the link to sign up:

✨✨Member Spotlight✨✨

Shanon Creason is a director for the Friends of JT Foster. On top of volunteering for this committee, she has volunteered many hours for our school, from making hot breakfasts, decorating & setup for Queens Ball and Grad, supervising Relay for Life, and working casino shifts. Her commitment and involvement help support meaningful initiatives and strengthen our school community. Thank you Shanon for all that you do!🥰

✨✨Member Spotlight✨✨

Davina Comstock is the vice chair for the JT Foster School Council, and is a director on the Friends of JT Foster Association. She coaches the Jr. Girls A volleyball team, and lead them to a banner win this past season. She is also the manager for the Sr. Boys Baseball team. We are lucky to have such a great volunteer in our community and school. A big shout out to Davina!👏🏻

✨✨Member Spotlight ✨✨

Rhonda Anderson is a director for the Friends of JT Foster. She has been attending the JTF School Council meetings for the last 3 years. It's a great way to keep up to date with everything going on at the school. This year, she joins the Friends of JTF as a director. She has also been attending the ABD School Council since 2017, and has held positions such as secretary and director. She has 3 children and enjoys helping out the schools. Her and her dog, Pearl, have volunteered with the Story Dogs program for the last 2 years. The ABD students also see her helping with the hot lunch program!

Texas Donuts Day was a success! 🍩🍩🍩

Thank you to everyone for making this fun treat day work for us. Jodie Sieben for organizing this event, Jodie Husted for picking the donuts up from Glamorgan Bakery in Calgary & for helping the distribute, and Davina Comstock & Joscelyn Stangowitz for helping to distribute. 🍩🍩🍩
