Let Me Be Me facilitates the educational programming from a learner's online learning school in a therapeutic and supportive environment, and provides a variety of programs that would take a holistic approach to learning. At the same time, these programs would be individualized to meet the needs and hone the talents of each student. facilitate the educational programming from a learner's online learning school in a therapeutic and supportive environment. The learners in the Let Me Be Me Program will be grounded in culture, sustainability and connected to the community. We can provide part time and full time programming (equivalent to gr 1-12, with modified or adapted options), as well as before and after school care, tutoring services and behavioural intervention. These programs will develop social skills (regular community outings, special activities, role play) and life skills (cooking, budgeting, laundry & personal care). Also, familiarize and have the students get comfortable with technology so that they are capable of being connected to their community and community services. Learners will have the opportunity to participate in nutrition programs, exploring food and its connection to nature, community and sustainability. This includes incorporating modern lifestyle choices that reflect the dietary needs of the learners; i.e. It is within the center’s goals, to be a hub for service providers; such as speech language pathologists, occupational therapists and counsellors in order to support the varying needs of learner and their families. Let Me Be Me is prepared to provide time and space to facilitate such endeavors with minimal barriers to families and caregivers. We also recognize the importance of integration of First Nations culture. Elders will be welcomed to the center to share oral traditions, drumming and valuable wisdom to the learners. We are highly motivated to integrate learners into community programs and services that will enable them to learn how to be independent, responsible and self- reliant. This is to include work experience placement, resumes and counselling to better prepare individuals for their transition from Let Me Be Me into our community. Community Support Worker — Part-Time

Starting September 2026 Wage: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

Part-Time Position

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced Community Support Worker to support individuals in reaching their personal, educational, social, and community-inclusion goals.

The successful candidate will meet each client on their terms and provide respectful, person-centred support based on their individual needs and goals.

Responsibilities

Support clients with personal hygiene and daily living skills

Encourage community inclusion and participation

Support education and learning goals

Provide classroom support for neurodiverse learners

Assist with life-skills development

Facilitate and participate in social groups and activities

Support socialization and community engagement

Document client interactions and progress

Work under the direction of the Program Lead

Work independently while maintaining good communication with the team
Build positive, respectful relationships with clients and families

Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience in community support, education, disability services, or a related field
Experience supporting neurodiverse individuals is an asset
Ability to work independently and follow direction
Reliable transportation and your own vehicle
Valid vehicle insurance with $5 million liability coverage
Current Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to supporting individuals
