Reunion rewind! This summer two grad classes celebrated milestone reunions with lots of laughter and fun memories.

πŸŽ“ Class of 2006 (20 Years!) kicked off with a campus tour and barbecue followed by dinner at Original Joe's. It was fun hearing about your class pranks. Turns out the legendary senior prank still lives on!

πŸŽ“ Class of 2011 (15 Years!) celebrated with a backyard gathering at the Ferris house in Errington then dinner at Browns Socialhouse. Who knew flipping through an old yearbook and playing a custom-made grad class bingo would bring back so many memories!

πŸ“Έ See a friend in a photo? Tag them.

Let us know if you're planning a class reunion. We would love to welcome you back home! Alumni are always welcome on campus, whether it's for a tour, a basketball game, a high school musical, or just to say hello.

What an incredible year it has been at NCS! πŸŽ‰ From our youngest learners to our graduating seniors, God has been so faithful. We have shared many year-end celebrations and have lots to be grateful for!

Here is a look back at some of our favourite moments from the final weeks of the school year:

πŸŽ“ Milestones & Memories

* Preschool & Kindergarten Grads: Our littlest ones turned tassels! We loved hearing our Kindergarteners announce what they want to be when they grow up.

* Grade 8 Roasts: Our Grade 8s celebrated moving into high school with plenty of laughs and roasts (in all the best ways!).

* Class of 2026: Sending off our Grade 12s with a beautiful graduation ceremony, dinner/dancing, and an unforgettable whale watching trip.

* Athletic Awards: High 5-ing our student athletes for their teamwork, dedication, and Christian sportsmanship!

🌱 Honoring Our Community

* Family Send-Off: We celebrated families whose last child is graduating from NCS. Thank you to for donating the beautiful Douglas fir seedlings to honour this milestone!

* Amazing Volunteers: A big thank you to the grad committee and other parents who worked behind the scenes to give our students incredible experiences throughout the year. A special shout-out to Heather Schneidereit, our Volunteer of the Year!

* Grandparent Love: We're grateful for the grandparents who served freezies on the last day of school to treat our students and support NCS!

πŸ™ Faith & Fellowship

* Final Chapel: Our hearts were full during our last chapel of the year today, watching our big and little buddies worship and pray for each other together. What a beautiful picture of God's love.

As we head into summer, we pray this blessing over every student, staff member, and family:

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."
β€” Numbers 6:24-26

Have a wonderful summer, NCS family! β˜€οΈ

Today, we celebrated one of our favourite NCS traditions as the Class of 2026 walked hand in hand with their kindergarten buddies.

With the entire school lining the hallways, students, staff, and family cheered them on. It’s a joyful reminder that every student is part of something bigger, a community that walks alongside them every step of the way.

Tomorrow, we celebrate the Class of 2026 as they cross the graduation stage and begin their next adventure. And before we know it, those kindergarten buddies will be the ones in caps and gowns, walking these same halls with a new generation by their side.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are so proud of you and excited to see where God leads you next.

Last Friday, Garibaldi Secondary School visited NCS as part of their Island tour, filling our gym with incredible music and energy. Even more exciting, a group of NCS band students had the opportunity to join them for a special performance of a piece both schools had prepared.

It was an inspiring moment of collaboration, encouragement, and music-making together. Thank you !

Last week middle school drama students took to the stage to perform "Perfection, and Other Disasters," an original play created by the students with the help of Mr. Hossini.

Inspired by our 2025-26 school theme (Shine) and the message of Matthew 5:16, the play tells the story of a talent show gone off the rails, revealing that true success comes not from being perfect but from helping others shine.

What makes this production even more impressive is that students were involved in every step of the process. They helped write the script, direct the show, manage the production, create props and costumes, and bring the story to life on stage.

Students performed for a Grade 1–5 audience, who enjoyed an entertaining and meaningful reminder to let their light shine for others. What great creativity, teamwork, and leadership!
