Charlotte from our Applecross home recently enjoyed one of her favourite meals… Greek! She was especially excited to get lamb!!!

For Alana’s big 50th birthday, we wanted to make it extra special, so we brought in dancers to celebrate with her, surrounded by her family and new friends.

But the best part wasn’t the entertainment — it was watching Alana. ❤️

Seeing her tapping her leg to the music, completely engaged, and looking like she might just get up out of that wheelchair and start dancing like the old days had her family watching with happy tears in their eyes.

These are the moments. The ones that remind us why creating opportunities for connection, joy, belonging and celebration matters so much.

Recently, Devyn and Taylor from our Applecross home enjoyed an amazing day exploring the North Island Wildlife Recovery & Education Center 🦅🌲🐻

There’s something pretty special about getting out into the community, experiencing nature up close, and making memories together. 💚

We’re also incredibly grateful for businesses and organizations that put accessibility at the forefront. Creating spaces where everyone can explore, participate, and enjoy everything our beautiful Island has to offer makes such a difference.

A wonderful day, some incredible wildlife, and two very happy adventurers! 🥰

Butterfly world is a favourite for many of our residents if you haven’t checked it out you should! 🦋 🦋

Music is a huge part of life for many. We are always looking for ways to incorporate this modality into everyday activities. Whether it’s through karaoke, music therapy or just jamming out together like the folks from Focus Day Program are doing here!

Its a beautiful thing to see these smiling faces from some of our day program participants from our Explorer program. Golf anyone???
