Encompass Childcare & Learning Centre

This summer, our little explorers dove into the wonderful world of nature! 🌿🍃

Nature became our classroom as we collected all kinds of treasures—pinecones, leaves, sticks, stones, and other special gifts from the outdoors—to inspire our indoor activities and creative projects.

The trails around Long Lake have been filled with our laughter, curiosity, and tiny footprints. We stopped to chat with a flock of geese, visited the duck pond to say hello to the ducks and their babies, and spent countless moments discovering the magic of the outdoors together. 🦆💚

One of our favorite adventures has been visiting the little forest beside Oliver Woods, where imagination takes over and our famous “Rock Store” opens for business! 🪨✨ Whether buying, selling, sorting, or simply admiring nature’s treasures, the children have created their own world of play and learning.

Every walk brings a new discovery, a new question, and a new adventure. We can't wait to see where nature takes us next! 🌞🌲

During Care Provider Month, we want to thank our incredible teachers for turning ordinary days into cherished childhood memories ✨ and for providing children with a place where they feel safe, supported, and cared for. 💛

Many years from now,
when they smell fresh grass and feel like rolling down a little hill 🍃
when they see beautiful cherry blossoms blooming in the park each spring 🌸
when they carry a little bucket into a tiny forest once again 🪣🌲
or when they step into a muddy puddle 💦
