One of the best parts of our International Education program is giving our students the opportunity to experience the incredible natural beauty of Vancouver Island.

Our students recently headed out on the water for an unforgettable day of whale watching, surrounded by ocean, wildlife, laughter and new friends.

These were experiences that become the memories they take home with them and remember for years to come!

🏠 Some of Our Best Hosts Come From Referrals
Over the years, some of our most successful host families have been referred by current hosts, friends, colleagues, and members of our community.
As we prepare for the 2026/27 school year, we're looking for caring families who would enjoy welcoming an international high school student into their home, sharing Canadian culture, and helping a student feel at home while studying abroad.

✔ Flexible hosting options (full year, semester, or short-term)
✔ Monthly honorarium ($1,200+ for special diets)

🏡 Have an extra bedroom and a welcoming home?

We're looking for host families in Ladysmith and surrounding areas for international high school students attending school locally.

Hosting can be a meaningful way to support a student, share Vancouver Island life, and receive supplemental income from space you already have. Short-term and longer-term opportunities may be available, and support is provided throughout.
