Pete the Cat I love you so...
Mama, there's lots of words that I know!
Jumping from pages, making me smile
I know it took long, much more than a while
I used to tear pages, I ripped books apart
I couldn't even wait for the story to start.
Now I fill in your words,
I say some out loud
Oh Mama, I know,
I make you feel proud! π₯Ή
Pete the Cat, I love you so...
"Read Mama! More! Again!
Let's Go!"

When you hear a cracking sound in the kitchen...and you rush towards it.
You see Liam opening the can with his teeth π³and pushing a straw in it.
Staking his claim.
Then you do a double take. Confused. Second guessing yourself.
Realizing that your eyes are not playing tricks on you as you initially thought.
Realizing that the can you see is indeed the can of Guinness beer you've bought ages ago, for the long forgotten stew you wanted to make in a previous lifetime π€ͺ
Being shook and awaken,
cruelly, out of its state of hibernation, after laying dormant and deserted in a corner for so long...discovered by the One who discovers EVERYTHING:
Hidden, disguised or camouflaged π€ͺ
Before the Lively One could even take one sip, the Mama grabs it,
pours it down the drain with a loud:
"Noooooo Liam!!"
Mama has spoken...
Outlast.
Outplay.
The battle is ongoing.
This time it ended well.
(And in my mind I'm lifting my torch,
proud and high and happy, along the rhythm and beat of the Survivor theme song hodi-hodi-yadi-ing in my ears π€ͺππππͺπ΅)

Photos of the past 2 weeks. (And some things were NOT photographed because I was either too shocked or too slow)
Yes, Liam is making progress and we are beyond grateful ππ»ππ» but we still have our challenges.
At least Liam gives me a reason to reorganize and tidy up my closets.
He forces my stagnant brain to come up with new, creative and innovative ideas to outlast and outplay him π€ͺπ

Liam 5 years ago...I posted this on my personal FB page then. Before I started This is Liam.
"Someone with Autism taught me that love needs no words", I said.
So true. So very very true!
However, Liam has so many more words than then and surprises us with a new one randomly, when we least expect it.
Keep on hoping, keep on dreaming, keep on praying and keep on believing Mama!
I see you π₯Ήππ»βοΈπ xx
