Happy new month, everyone! February is one of our favourite themed months of the year. Our agenda is packed with unique crafts, fun circle-time activities, and the beginning of our planting season. This month, we’ll be exploring friendship, feelings, helping hands and Valentine’s Day with our littles. 💕🌿

What we thought was frozen pipes, has turned into a multi day project thats been full of surprises. Thankfully our lovley neighbours have helped us with a temporary water line AND are helping pull up 210 ft of well line on their Sunday so we can get back to full operation as soon as possible 🙏

A message from Teresa and I ❤️

Thank you to all the families who showered my family and me with gifts and heartfelt cards over the holidays. Your support and appreciation mean so much to us.

2025 was another truly memorable year for our little daycare. We celebrated two little graduates as they moved on to kindergarten and welcomed three new littles into our group. We also completed our first year using the greenhouse, which was more successful than I could have ever imagined.

We expanded our indoor toy and game selection, enjoyed endless nature walks, created fun art projects, explored small science experiments, and learned so many new songs during our daily circle times. This year, we also introduced affirmations into our curriculum, hosted our very first Pro-D Day Fun Camp, and partnered with the Cranberry Fire Hall. I’m excited to share that all Pro-D Day camps in 2026 will be hosted there.

Our little hobby farm continued to grow as well. We hatched a total of 18 turkeys, with all but five heading to their new homes in Cedar, BC. We nurtured 25 new chicks this spring and adopted a local Buff Orpington rooster who needed a new home—Rudy the Rooster. Our layers gifted us with over 4,000 eggs this year, which meant many shared breakfasts and lots of baking together. We also saw great growth in our goats—Neo, Ney, Spot, and Dot—and we’re excited to share that baby goats are expected in early 2026.

Looking ahead, 2026 promises to be another year of growth, both within the daycare and professionally. I plan to complete my ECEA by July and continue my education in child development through local courses offered by Pacific Childcare.

We are so grateful for the support each family pours into our daycare and our family. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your little one’s journey—it truly means the world to us. ❤️
