Yesterday, we took time at Grandview Adventist Academy to recognize Truth and Reconciliation Day, to listen, to learn, and to reflect.

But the message Every Child Matters is not just for one day.

At Grandview, we believe every child is precious, every child deserves to be heard, every child deserves to feel safe and valued, and every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and become all that God has called them to be.

As a Christian school community, we are reminded of the example of Jesus, who welcomed children with love and reminded His followers of their incredible value.

🧡 Truth and Reconciliation Day at Grandview Adventist Academy 🧡

Today was a truly meaningful day at Grandview Adventist Academy as we came together to recognize Truth and Reconciliation Day.

We were honoured to hear a powerful testimony from our guest speaker, who openly shared experiences from her childhood and some of the tremendous obstacles she had to overcome along the way.

Her story reminded us of the importance of listening, learning, understanding, compassion, and reconciliation. It was an opportunity for our students to hear a personal story, reflect on the experiences of others, and better understand why days like today matter.

We are incredibly grateful to our guest speaker for her courage, honesty, and willingness to share her journey with our students and staff.

At Grandview, education is about more than what happens in the classroom. It is also about helping our students grow in compassion, respect, understanding, and love for one another.

🎒📚 School Is Back — and the Excitement Is in the Air!

The 2026/27 school year has officially begun, and our parents, students, and teachers are excited for everything this new year will bring!

A new school year means new opportunities, new friendships, new challenges, and new reasons to grow. We’re looking forward to watching our students learn, discover their gifts, build confidence, and reach new heights. As they Build on the Rock of Jesus.

At Grandview, we played hard—and the awards reflected it! 🏅

Our students did an amazing job throughout Sports Day, demonstrating outstanding teamwork, determination, and friendly competition. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another, giving their best effort, and having so much fun along the way.

Congratulations to all of our participants and award winners. You made us proud! 🎉👏

Celebrating Our Graduates! 🎓

Last Thursday, Grandview Adventist Academy held its SK and Grade 8 Graduation Ceremony, and it was truly a touching and memorable event.

The presentations from the classes were heartfelt, inspiring, and filled with joy. It was wonderful to see the students share their talents, reflect on their journey, and celebrate this important milestone with family, friends, and the school community.

A special congratulations to our graduating SK and Grade 8 students. We are so proud of all that you have accomplished and excited to see what God has in store for your future. May you continue to grow in wisdom, faith, and confidence as you move on to the next chapter of your educational journey.

Thank you to the teachers, staff, and families who have supported and encouraged these students every step of the way. It was a beautiful celebration and a reminder of what makes the Grandview community so special.

Grandview Sports Day Was a Huge Success!

Last Wednesday, Grandview came alive with excitement as students, staff, and families enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day filled with fun, teamwork, and school spirit!

From friendly competitions and exciting games to cheering on classmates, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The day was made even better with a delicious BBQ, giving everyone a chance to relax, connect, and celebrate together.

A special thank you to all the volunteers, staff, and organizers who helped make the day such a memorable event. It was wonderful to see our school community come together for a day filled with laughter, encouragement, and healthy competition.

The smiles, energy, and enthusiasm on display reminded us what makes Grandview such a special place. We are already looking forward to next year's Sports Day!
