Today, we recognize Truth and Reconciliation through Orange Shirt Day.

We honour the Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never came home, and recognize the lasting impacts on Indigenous families and communities.

May today be a reminder that reconciliation is an ongoing responsibility. We can listen, learn, reflect, and take meaningful steps toward a future built on truth, respect, and understanding.

Tomorrow, September 30, we encourage all staff, students, and families across Prairie South to wear orange in honour of Survivors of residential schools, their families, and the children who never made it home. Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a reminder of the lasting impacts of residential schools and our commitment to reconciliation, respect, and understanding. By wearing orange, we show that Every Child Matters – past, present, and future.

Our Grade 9–12 students had a fantastic time at the Career Fair!

It was a great opportunity for students to explore different career paths, connect with professionals, ask questions, and learn more about the possibilities ahead. We loved seeing their curiosity, enthusiasm, and excitement as they discovered new opportunities for their futures!
