Our Grade 7/8 Chess Club travelled to St. Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School yestersay to participate in a friendly chess tournament. Our students demonstrated strategic thinking, focus, and good sportsmanship throughout the event. We are so proud of their efforts and the way they represented our school. Congratulations to all who participated!

All school bus transportation has been cancelled for today, Tuesday, February 10, due to forecasted inclement weather conditions. CDSBEO schools remain open.

On Friday, February 6, SMSC students will partake in the Winter Carnival!!! We will be spending quite a bit of time outside in the afternoon, so all students must dress for the conditions. We’re looking forward to kicking off the Winter Olympics with some winter activities of our own ❄️
