We are so excited to kick off the 2026–2027 school year at École Notre Dame Elementary School!
Here are a few important dates and details to help your family get ready:
🏫 Office Opening:
Our school office opens to the public starting Tuesday, August 25.
📩 Teacher Welcome Emails:
Keep an eye on your inbox! Teachers will be sending out welcome emails after Wednesday, August 26.
👋 Meet Your Teacher & Supply Drop-Off:
Join us on Thursday, August 27, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM to meet your teacher, explore your classroom, and drop off school supplies!
🗓️ Staggered Entry Schedule:
Monday, August 31: Last names A–L attend (no school for M–Z).
Tuesday, September 1: Last names M–Z attend (no school for A–L).
Wednesday, September 2: Regular daily classes for ALL students!

Our littlest leaders are officially signing out for the summer and heading straight for Grade 1. We are so incredibly proud of how much they’ve learned, played, and grown this year.

And just like that, Grade 5 is in the books! ✨
We celebrated our incredible Grade 5 students as they officially wrap up their elementary school journey.
From the very first day of school to this final farewell, these students have grown so much—not just as learners, but as leaders, teammates, and kind friends.
We are incredibly proud of all your hard work, your creativity, and the laughter you brought to our hallways every single day.
Middle school, get ready! We know these amazing students are going to do big things. 🚀
Congratulations to our Grade 5 promotion class! We will miss you, but we can’t wait to see you shine in your next chapter. 🌟

Our Grade 5 class swapped their desks for the forest today with an incredible trip to the Strathcona Wilderness Centre!
From exploring the trails to learning about local ecosystems, these students brought amazing energy, curiosity, and teamwork to the wilderness.
It was the perfect day to connect with nature, challenge ourselves, and make some unforgettable memories outside the classroom. 🍁🍂
A huge thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers and the amazing staff at the wilderness center for making this day possible!

That’s a wrap on an incredible year of the Grade 4/5 Recreation Academy! 🎬🏆
From trying new sports to building amazing teamwork, these kids brought 100% energy and smiles to every single session. We are so proud of how much they’ve grown, tried new things, and cheered each other on this year.
A huge thank you to our teachers, supportive parents, our phenomenal students, and especially our incredible community for providing these amazing opportunities! 👟✨
