Play Day is always one of our favourites of the year!!! A HUGE thank you to our amazing Mme Duval for organizing this incredible day for the entire school!!! A special thank you to all of the wonderful people who helped to make this day all the amazing it was!

The best Mountie around is our dear Officer Clem!! ❤️ He has been such a wonderful presence in our school and community this year! He came to every single special event he could, whether that be the Terry Fox Run, our Remembrance Day Ceremony, Guest Reader Day, or the year-end celebrations! He visited every single classroom often and brought so many smiles to all of our faces 🥹❤️
This week, he popped in to drop off Positive Tickets to our Book Award Winners!
Thank you Officer Clem, for being walking sunshine! Our community is so lucky to have you as part of it & we all love you at MPS! ❤️

🎉 MPS Play Day is TOMORROW! ☀️💦
We can’t wait for a day full of outdoor fun, games, and activities! Students will also have the chance to cool off with our foam cannons, so please make sure your child comes prepared.
Please send your child with:
💙 A bathing suit
💙 A change of clothes
💙 A towel
Please also dress your child comfortably for the weather and a full day of outdoor play. Don’t forget sunscreen if needed and a water bottle to help them stay hydrated.
We’re looking forward to an amazing day of fun together! 🌈🎈

Our Kindergarten classes enjoyed a special treat at Circle K on Monday, and we were so surprised when they generously gifted every one of our students a stuffed animal to take home! 🧸💙 A huge thank you to Circle K Morinville for your incredible kindness and generosity. You made our kinders’ day extra special and put so many smiles on their faces! We truly appreciate your support of our school community. 💛

On Friday, we honoured National Indigenous Peoples Day through learning, listening, and celebration. We explored Indigenous games, teepee teachings, bannock, stories by Indigenous authors, and Métis Dot Art. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn about and celebrate the cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.
