CCS family and friends – Let’s Pray!

You are invited on August 31st @ 7:00 pm to join us in the CCS Chapel for a prayer event and a prayer walk through the school to pray for God’s transforming work this year in and through CCS. Let’s pray over our students, the events, the space, and the year as we seek God’s heart and favour for their lives. We’ll begin in the chapel for some corporate prayer together, then break off into groups to walk through the school for small-group and individual prayer.

Oswald Chambers wrote: “Prayer does not equip us for the greater works; prayer is the greater work.” More than anything that happens this year, praying for God to move and work and be glorified is the most powerful thing we can do together.

Please join us at 7:00 pm on August 31st.

⚡ Flash Forward Friday: New Staff Member Alert! ⚡

Hi! I'm Sharon Lewis.

My husband, Tim, and I, along with our three sons, have lived in the Moose Jaw area since 2010. Our sons all attended Cornerstone Christian School and graduated in 2016, (Nathan) 2017, (Jesse) and 2019. (Ben) We spent many hours in the CCS gym cheering on the Falcons and our boys in their many sporting events. Since then, our family has grown to include two wonderful daughters-in-law and one precious granddaughter.

This past year, I worked as a substitute teacher with Prairie South School Division, and before that I enjoyed teaching at Westmount Elementary School for several years. I am excited to be joining the Cornerstone team this year.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy reading, gardening, travelling, and, most of all, spending time with my family. I look forward to getting to know the Cornerstone community and sharing a wonderful year of learning together!
