Today we celebrate David Tardif, recipient of the South Central District Athletic Association Service Award.

For 18 years, David has been a leader, mentor, coach, and tireless supporter of Vanier Athletics. From the football field to the basketball court, and everywhere in between, his dedication has left a lasting impact on countless student-athletes and colleagues.

As his time at Vanier comes to an end and he begins a new chapter in Regina, we want to thank him for his years of service, commitment, and friendship. Your influence on our school community will not be forgotten.

What an incredible weekend at the SHSAA Provincial Track & Field Championships!

Congratulations to our eight Vanier athletes who represented our school with pride, determination, and sportsmanship on Saskatchewan’s biggest stage. Many of our athletes rose to the occasion by achieving significant personal best performances, a testament to the hard work and dedication they have shown throughout the season.

Leading the way was Hailey Roney, who delivered a remarkable championship by earning bronze medals in both Triple Jump and the 4x400m Relay, while also capturing Provincial Gold in High Jump.

Emmy Blanchard also enjoyed an outstanding weekend, placing 10th in both Long Jump and Triple Jump and claiming Provincial Gold in High Jump.

Owen Tribier capped off an excellent season with a 6th-place finish in the 100m, 8th in the 200m, and helped our 4x100m relay team earn a 5th-place finish in the province.

We are incredibly proud of all eight athletes for their commitment, perseverance, and the way they represented Vanier throughout the season.

Congratulations on an outstanding season and a memorable Provincial Championship performance!

The Vanier Band and Choir are taking Calgary by storm. Between performances, workshops, and time spent exploring the city, this group is fully embracing the experience. It is great to see the hard work paying off while creating lasting memories together. Thank you for representing Vanier with such pride and spirit.

Vanier is proud to send Liam and Carter to Saskatoon tomorrow to compete at the Provincial Wrestling Championships.

These two represent the very best of what it means to be a Viking. Strong competitors on the mat and outstanding young men off the mat. Their dedication, discipline, and leadership have set the standard for our wrestling program all season.

We are incredibly proud of both of you and cannot wait to see you represent Vanier Collegiate on the provincial stage.

Congratulations to our Senior Boys Basketball team on capturing the championship at their home tournament this past weekend. The team played with great energy, discipline, and composure throughout the event and it was exciting to see their hard work pay off!!
