My world truly begins and ends with these two. ❤️

Life takes on a whole new meaning when you become a parent. These two incredible humans are my heart, my gift, and my greatest teachers.

Finding balance between work and home hasn’t always been easy. I love what I do — producing, directing, leading, teaching theatre — but the long hours and countless commitments often come at a cost. For every show, rehearsal, or class I’ve poured myself into, there have been moments with my kids that I’ve missed.

I’ve tried to bring them along on this creative journey — my son running spotlights or filming shows, my daughter cheering from the wings — but over time, our paths have sometimes pulled in different directions. Still, we’ve always been anchored by community.

Moose Jaw has been that village for us — a home where others have stepped in when I couldn’t be there, cheering on my kids when I was helping someone else’s take the stage. I’ll never forget the day a theatre parent quietly acknowledged what I had sacrificed to lead a student performance while missing my son’s final game. She made sure I knew the score that day — a small gesture that meant the world.

It reminded me that we are all part of something bigger: a circle of support, love, and shared purpose. I am so deeply grateful — for this community, for the trust of my students, and for these two amazing souls who make every challenge worthwhile.

It truly does take a village… and I’m thankful for mine.
