On behalf of the McGill Journal of Dispute Resolution (MJDR) and the McGill Arbitration Student Society (MASS), we are pleased to invite you to our annual symposium on alternative dispute resolution titled “International Arbitration in 2024 – Rising Issues and Trends”. The event will take place on February 15, 2024 from 1 to 3 pm in the Caren and Jordan H. Waxman Common Room in OCDH.
Recognized as prominent figures in international dispute resolution, Taylor Gillespie and Efat Elsherif of the International Arbitration group at White & Case New York along with Professor Andrea Bjorklund, L. Yves Fortier Chair in International Arbitration and International Commercial Law at the McGill Faculty of Law, will be discussing how the practice has evolved as well as rising challenges in the field. This event is especially geared towards students with an interest in international arbitration, practicing in New York, and White & Case.
The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session with the speakers. Lunch will be provided to participants (please email [email protected] after registering if you have any dietary restrictions).
