Join us every Wednesday and Thursday for FREE Bollywood dance classes in a Montreal
park! ☀

Made possible through the support of the City of Montreal, these classes are open to
everyone : parents, grandparents, friends... bring the whole family and enjoy an evening of movement, music, and community!

🌸 No experience needed.
Whether you’ve danced Bollywood before or it’s your very first class, you’re welcome! Come have fun, stay active, meet new people, and celebrate summer with us in a warm and inclusive atmosphere.

Our students proudly performed Kuthu, a lively South Indian folk-inspired dance style
known for its infectious rhythms, energetic movements, and joyful spirit.
Rooted in celebration and community, Kuthu is all about expressing confidence,
having fun, and connecting through music and movement. Its bold energy and
dynamic footwork make it a style that brings people together and fills every performance with excitement.
At Mayuraa, we love introducing our students to the incredible diversity of Indian dance. From classical traditions to vibrant folk and contemporary styles, every class is an opportunity to celebrate culture, movement, and self-expression.

✨ One afternoon, countless memories. ✨

Our June 7th Showcase was a beautiful reminder of what happens when people come together through dance. 💛

From student performances to workshops, the day was filled with curiosity, connection, and shared experiences. Audience members had the chance to discover Indian dance and culture in an accessible and welcoming environment, while our students had the opportunity to shine and celebrate their journey.

What stays with us most isn’t just the performances, it’s the smiles, the conversations, the encouragement, and the sense of belonging that filled
the room.

At Mayuraa, we’re building more than dancers. We’re creating a space where people can learn, challenge themselves, support one another, and
be part of something meaningful.

✨ So proud of these dancers ✨

There is something incredibly special about watching students step onto a stage and allow themselves to be seen.

For some of them, this was their very first performance. Their first time facing an audience, managing the nerves, trusting, and sharing all the hard work they’ve put in over the past weeks. 💛

What makes it even more meaningful is seeing them choose to explore Indian dance styles and culture through movement. Through every rehearsal and every performance, they embraced something new,
challenged themselves, and brought so much energy and heart to the stage.

At Mayura, it’s never only about learning choreography. It’s about building
confidence, expressing yourself, connecting with others, and discovering the joy of performing.

Some moments deserve to be remembered ✨

A few snapshots from our collaboration with Les Voix Ferrées, where dance and live choral music came together to create something truly special.

Bringing Balleilakka by A.R. Rahman to life on stage was more than a performance, it was a celebration of community, culture, and collective joy. 💛

Behind these smiles and stage moments were weeks of rehearsals, dedication, growth, and connection. Watching our dancers share the stage with such talented singers was a beautiful reminder of what can
happen when different art forms come together.

To everyone who danced, sang, supported, and cheered us on: thank you for being part of this unforgettable experience. ✨

Watching our students grow week after week is truly one of the most rewarding parts of this journey 💛
Seeing everyone show up, push themselves, gain confidence and fully enjoy the process… that’s what Mayuraa is all about 🌿
The last session has been filled with so much energy, progress, laughter and beautiful moments in the studio ✨The energy of our last showcase
was just magical .
No matter where you started, every step forward matters.
And we’re so proud of every single person showing up for themselves at this showcase 🫶.
