🌟 Congratulations to Joé Leduc, PhD candidate in Management, on being selected as part of the prestigious Concordia Public Scholars 2026-2027 cohort.

Each year, Concordia selects a cohort of PhD students to represent the university's interdisciplinary diversity and excellence in research. These scholars engage with our wider community to share the significance of their work and its impact on society.

His research explores the psychology of meaning at work — examining the factors that lead people to experience their work and lives as valuable and worthwhile, and how this shapes health and performance.

Chaque année, Concordia procède à la nomination d'un groupe d'étudiants·es au doctorat dont le rôle est de représenter l’excellence et la diversité interdisciplinaire en recherche à l’Université. Ce programme permet chercheur·es de faire connaître, dans la collectivité, l’importance et la portée sociale de leurs travaux.

Ses recherches portent sur la psychologie du sens au travail : il étudie les facteurs qui amènent les gens à percevoir leur travail et leur vie comme étant précieux et enrichissants, ainsi que l’incidence de cette perception sur leur santé et leur rendement.

These students graduated from the two-year Van Berkom Investment Management Program. This program tasks between six to ten students per year with managing a portfolio of small capitalization North American equities with a view to achieving above-average returns.

D’une durée de deux ans, le programme permet chaque année à six à huit personnes d’administrer un fonds d’actions de sociétés nord-américaines à faible capitalisation. Leur objectif : obtenir un rendement supérieur à la moyenne.

« Notre expérience du Programme de gestion de placements van Berkom aura été l’un des chapitres les plus intenses, enrichissants et mémorables de notre cheminement universitaire et personnel. 🔹 Last month, we hosted the 28th Induction Ceremony of new members to the Concordia Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma.

The honour society of Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive at a school accredited by AACSB International.

We would like to congratulate our newly inducted Beta Gamma Sigma members on their remarkable academic achievements and give a special thank you to Jacques Duchesneau for delivering an inspiring keynote speech.
