The mission of The Foundation for Genocide Education is to collaborate with governments and educational experts to ensure that the history of genocide and the steps leading to it are taught in high schools across Canada and the United States.

May 20th, we remember the nearly 2 million lives lost during the Cambodian genocide under the Khmer Rouge regime. This day stands as a testament to the strength of the Cambodian people and the importance of remembering history to build a more just and peaceful future.
Our foundation is working together with a survivor of the Cambodian genocide to present her story to high school students during the 2026-27 school year. Education is the best way to ensure this history is never forgotten.
