AGSEM's Executive Committee and Delegates Council continue to stand in solidarity with student activism and in support of the student strike. This is not a labor strike. However you may participate according to your conscience as students in whatever way you think appropriate.

You always have the right to refuse work that you feel threatens your health, safety, or physical well-being, or the health and safety of others (Act Respecting Occupational Health and Safety, s-2.1).

Once you are already at your place of work and physically see the unsafe working conditions, email your supervisor that you are refusing unsafe work and explain your reasoning. CC AGSEM ([email protected]). We will support you throughout the process. Do not call the police or security on your fellow students.
