Remembering Edem Dugbenoo (May 1991-March 2023)

The McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship is extremely saddened to learn of the recent passing of Edem Dugbenoo, co-founder of Ozone Prosthetics. Edem was passionate about helping amputees in Africa with his innovative bionic limb fabrication, using the expertise in additive engineering developed during his PhD in the Department of Mining and Materials Engineering at McGill University. Edem was extremely kind and generous, and made the promise to donate a free non-bionic limb for every bionic limb sold through his startup.

Edem's passion for helping others was truly inspiring. To continue his legacy, Edem's family have promised to establish a bursary at McGill University to help incoming engineering students in financial need. To honour his memory, please consider supporting this endeavour via the crowdfunding campaign below:
