Futures First Trading Case Competition

About
The Futures First Trading Case Competition, organized by the John Molson Trading League (JMTL), will challenge participants in two live trading cases using the Rotman Interactive Trader (RIT) software β the same platform used at the JMTL Monday Trading sessions.
The event begins with registration and setup from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by the Liability Trading Case from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where participants will trade four different stocks with varying volatility and liquidity. After a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, trading resumes for the ETF Arbitrage Pricing Case from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, where participants must accurately price ETFs based on live market news.
Results will be announced between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, followed by prize distribution:
π₯ 1st Place: Internship opportunity with Futures First
π₯ & π₯ 2nd and 3rd Place: Cash prizes and sponsored merchandise
Important Notes
The competition is conducted on the Rotman Interactive Trader (RIT) platform. Participants unfamiliar with RIT are encouraged to attend JMTLβs weekly training sessions before the event.
Limited to 35 participants. Tickets: $10.
Dress Code: Business professional (suit and dress shoes recommended; tie optional).
