Noise demonstrations are a way to show solidarity with prisoners. We stand outside the prison and make noise so people locked up can hear it and know that we care and are thinking about them. It feels especially important during these days of pandemics and uprisings to let people inside know that we have their backs. And that we will do everything we can to make sure they are not forgotten either. That the change we are pushing for everywhere includes abolishing prisons and the police and liberating people from a system that is murderous and violent. Decarcerate, defund, abolish, now!
