As we count down to Graduation 2026, we are celebrating families whose Herzliah journeys span generations.

Over the coming week, we’ll be highlighting students, parents, and even grandparents who share the experience of being a Herzliah graduate - a reminder of the lasting connections and community that continue long after graduation day.

Thank You Thursday goes to the Class of 1996. It was such a pleasure to welcome you back for your reunion. The evening was filled with familiar faces, easy conversations, and the sense of being right back in community together.

There was a real buzz in the room as students heard about your journeys, the paths that led you to where you are today, and the Herzliah connections woven into each story. The students were so engaged and inspired, many did not want the session to end!

Thank You Thursday to alumna Dr. Merav Fima ’01, who was in town recently for a book signing.

A writer, translator, and literary critic currently based in Melbourne, Merav is the author of Late Blossoms, a powerful collection that brings Jerusalem to life through the voices of migrant women artists. Her novel The Rose of Thirteen Petals and the Pomegranate Tree is set for release next year.

We are especially proud to celebrate Merav not only as an accomplished alumna, but also as the daughter of our esteemed Dr. Joseph Fima, whose impact continues to be felt across generations.

Thank you, Merav, for sharing your work and inspiring our community.

Thank you to Noah ’16, Heidi ’90, Kara ’12, and Sarah ’13 for joining our senior students this week for an engaging session on the legal field.

The conversation was honest, practical, and full of insight into what a career in law can look like today. We are especially grateful to our alumni for giving back and taking time out of their busy days to share their experience with the next generation.
