Maybe you loved drawing when you were younger, but then life got busy — work, family, responsibilities — and somehow art stayed behind in childhood.

Or perhaps you’ve always wanted to try watercolor but kept putting it off because you didn’t know where to start or simply couldn’t find the time.

This might be your sign to finally do it. ❤️

Art Blooms Club is starting a new 8-week watercolor course for adults this Wednesday, August 12.

No previous experience is required. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some painting experience, you’re very welcome to join us.

With a wonderful instructor and a warm, relaxed atmosphere, we’ll explore different subjects and watercolor techniques, learn, experiment, and simply enjoy a couple of creative hours away from the everyday rush.

And you don’t need to prepare anything — all art materials are included.

If August 12 is too short notice, you can join us the following Wednesday instead, and the missed class will simply be deducted from the course price.

Art Blooms Club commence un nouveau cours d’aquarelle de 8 semaines pour adultes ce mercredi 12 août.

Aucune expérience préalable n’est nécessaire. Que vous soyez débutant(e) ou que vous ayez déjà une certaine expérience en peinture, vous êtes les bienvenu(e)s.

Avec une excellente enseignante et dans une ambiance chaleureuse et détendue, nous explorerons différents sujets et techniques d’aquarelle, apprendrons, expérimenterons et profiterons tout simplement de quelques heures de créativité loin du rythme du quotidien.

Et vous n’avez rien à préparer : tout le matériel artistique est inclus.

🎨 Today, Art Blooms Club, in collaboration with Westmount Library, was delighted to host the first session of our two-part Plein Air Art Workshop Series.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to partner with Westmount Library and bring this creative experience to members of the Westmount community. It was wonderful to see participants come together to enjoy an evening of painting outdoors in a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.

As part of this series, all art materials and supplies are provided, allowing participants to simply arrive, relax, and immerse themselves in the creative process.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our instructor, Iryna Merkulova, a professional artist living and working in Montreal, for generously sharing her talent, expertise, and passion with our participants.

Lilacs are in bloom, which means one of the most beautiful and fragrant seasons of the year has arrived. 💜

At our latest Art Blooms Club class, we painted lilacs, exploring their delicate colours, soft forms, and the light, airy feeling that makes them such a beloved symbol of spring and early summer.

Every painting turned out unique, and it was wonderful to see each artist interpret the same subject in their own way.

There are only two classes remaining in this session, and unfortunately the course is now fully booked. However, we are planning to launch a new course in mid-August, and we would be delighted to welcome new participants.

Art Blooms Club is organizing another cozy art retreat just one hour from Montreal ✨

June is when people start getting a little tired of being urban.

So on June 5–7, we’re escaping into the forest. There will be sauna, painting, good food, late tea, pine trees, children if you wish, and the kind of silence where you can finally hear yourself again.

One hour from Montreal. Two nights, and full Saturday of a more normal life 🌿

A weekend to slow down, create, rest, and reconnect with nature:
