At our daycare, we combine our love for children and passion for working with them, with diverse and updated educational approaches, along with a harmonious collaboration with families and all staff. We believe children should be in a healthy and secure environment in order to cultivate their self-worth. One that will know how to influence the child in a positive and constructive w

ay, and support his overall well-being. We encourage them to develop respect for themselves, for others and for the environment by several means, including active and shared learning with their peers. We provide them with various learning activities in order to foster a confident attitude about future education and a creative environment to which a child’s talents and personality can flourish. Our staff has training and experience in the fields of pedagogy, early childhood education and special education. We strongly believe in continuous training in order to gain new skills, be aware of new teaching methods, and provide the best education for children. We take courses, participate in workshops, and every day we learn a great deal from our "cute little teachers »! ABOUT US

We are open 5 days a week from Monday to Friday 7 a.m. Our daycare provides a great service in a warm and caring environment for children from ages 6 months to 5 years, which are divided into 3 appropriate age groups, with a maximum capacity of 41 children. To improve the learning of our young children, our groups have an excellent teacher to child ratios:
- Infant group ages 6 to 18 months. (5 children to 1 teacher)
- Toddler group ages 18 months to 3 years. (6 children to 1 teacher)
- Preschool group ages 3 to 5 years. (7 children to 1 teacher)

We offer breakfast in the morning, a hot meal balanced according to the Canadian Food Guide, and a snack after nap. All of our meals are home cooked with fresh and healthy ingredients. The meat we use is always grain-fed (Halal). Furthermore, our program includes additional classes that are free of charge, such as: yoga, dance, music, science and art. Our kids engage in fun and educational excursions, such as the zoo, the library, the Biodôme, the farm, the museum, the sugar shack, apple picking, and much more. With Garderie Academie Kinder being a private preschool, you may take full advantage of all allowable Federal and Provincial refundable tax credits (Provincial tax credit up to 75 per cent).
