Join us on January 30th, for the MJLH's 24th Annual Colloquium at Thomson House (3650 rue McTavish, Montreal Qc)!

Our expert panel of speakers will discuss the legal and ethical boundaries of authority over children’s bodies and lives, including legislative efforts to restrict access to gender-affirming care for minors; the evolving role of judges and lawmakers in family and child protection law; consent in paediatric care and the interaction between clinical ethics and legal norms; and the limits of parental decision-making in medical contexts, including issues of proportionality of care and therapeutic obstinacy.

Head injuries in sports have long been a major concern, with the National Institutes of Health estimating 1.2 million athletic head injuries each year.
