🚀 On August 26, Interim Executive Director Aaron Johnson pitched District 3 at a Canadian Space Agency Agency + European space incubator gathering: representing Concordia University and spotlighting how D3 helps founders and researchers explore deep‑tech development and strengthen the pipeline between research, innovation, talent and space engineering.

Hosted within the CNE Space Experience, the event brought together leaders shaping Canada’s role in Artemis II and the future of space exploration, a powerful moment to highlight Concordia’s growing space ecosystem, from Space Concordia to the Mark Pathy Space Institute.

Two startups from D3’s advanced track, MentorConnect, were featured in as part of Quebec’s 40 emerging companies to watch. 🚀

Haply Robotics robotics is pushing the future of surgical training with high‑precision haptic tech that brings realistic force‑feedback to simulation and teleoperation.

Relocalize is reinventing food & beverage production with hyper‑automated, AI‑powered micro‑factories that cut emissions and shorten supply chains.

This recognition reflects the vision and hard work of their founders, and the power of connecting growing companies with experienced mentors, strategic guidance, and the right networks at the right time through MentorConnect.
