In this first episode, Sustainfiy sits down with Dr. Robert Fajber, a leading climate scientist and Assistant Professor in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at McGill University. With a background in physics and a passion for understanding Earth’s climate system, Dr. Fajber has worked across academia, government, and the private sector to explore the connections between hydroclimate, atmospheric dynamics, and global energy flows.
We dive into everything from advanced climate models to real-world observations—how they work, where they fall short, and what they can (and can’t) tell us about the future of our climate. We also explore some surprising lessons from simplified « toy » models and what it’s like to work in climate science when eco-anxiety is so real.
Join us for an eye-opening conversation as we break down the inner workings of climate predictions with an expert! Click the link in our linktree to listen!
