This weekend is a great time to bake a beautiful bûche. Here are some shots of proud bakers from last year! (They all happen to be kids but this class is made for all ages!) Hi friends! It's YUCKY outside today, which made me think it's the perfect time to make some bûches de noël. This means two things: 1. you can make your OWN bûche by taking my class (link in comments). It's really fun and I walk you through it STEP BY STEP in videos. OR 2. I am going to make a very limited number to order (order form in comments). I'll also be making cookie kits. All the details about to-order desserts are on the order form... you may notice I said "very limited" and I really mean it, so if you're thinking about it, I'd get the order in fast. Today i was making whoopie pies to celebrate a young man I’ve known since he was in a stroller. While I was at it I decided to make some extras and play with fillings. If you could also use a whoopie pie, or a little celebration today, I have vanilla, Oreo and caramel buttercream filled chocolate whoopie pies for three each. There aren’t many so claim yours while you can. DM or text me.

Wednesday of Summer Bake Club we’ll be making crackers and granola bars. I love recipes like this because they give a lot of room for experimentation and creativity. My granola bars are cherry chocolate almond, but I have some other ideas I’m dying to test... apple cinnamon maybe? S’mores? The cheddar crackers blow goldfish and cheezits out of the water! And the crisps are another place to get creative with spices and herbs. If you’re gluten-free, don’t fret. The cheddar crackers are fantastic gluten-free. The granola bars already are. And I’m going to perfect a gf crisp. I’m determined. Link in bio!

Blueberry buckle is the recipe Summer Baking Club will be doing on Tuesday. It’s a real favourite in my family and a definite crowd pleaser. So much so that my mom more than doubles the recipe and makes it in her biggest baking dish. We’ll make a more reasonably sized buckle and you’ll be happily enjoying it for snacks and even breakfast. Did you know you can make cookie dough that is safe to eat raw? And did you can make ice cream without special equipment? And to top it off (pun intended) you can make an amazing hot fudge sauce without icky ingredients. On Monday the 23rd, I’ll be kicking off Summer Bake Club (online!) without actually doing any “baking.” We’ll make all three of these recipes together so you can have a Sundae-bar-Monday.
