MAY THE ODDS BE IN YOUR FAVOUR for the SECOND ANNUAL MCGILL LINGUISTICS OLYMPIAD, next Friday at Benelux from 5-7pm. Join forces with some of your peers and compete against others in these two action-packed trials.
First years fear not—teams will be made well-rounded and the focus will be mostly on overall linguistic reasoning.
Upon whom have the Gods of Phonetics, Phonology, Syntax and Semantics bestowed absolute linguistic prowess? Only the Olympiad will tell.
